Transportation Roundtable

Wednesday, May 21
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
OSBA Office, Columbus

Cost: $35, includes lunch

Format:
Roundtable discussion. Any attendee can offer a question or issue to be discussed by the entire group for whatever length of time is needed.

This is an opportunity for transportation supervisors and other school administrators to sit down and openly discuss various issues, as well as interact with individuals from other school districts to solve similar problems. Pete Japikse, associate director of the Ohio Department of Education’s Office of Pupil Transportation, will be on hand to answer questions.

A few suggested topics for consideration are:

  • efficient operations of a school transportation program
  • federal regulations and the rule-making process
  • the state of Ohio’s budget for transportation funding
