OSBA policy services offers several levels of assistance, ranging from Basic to Premium service. Experienced OSBA policy consultants assist boards of education in developing and updating their school board policy manuals. The policy consultants are supported by the expertise of OSBA’s legal, legislative, labor relations and management staff.

- Policy Development Quarterly (PDQ), a quarterly newsletter containing sample policies, as well as articles on new and revised laws, rules and regulations that have policy implications
Standard service
- designed for policy development by district staff with on-site consultation
- review of Ohio Policy Service Manual; collective bargaining agreements and one student handbook per building level

Basic service
